PM Kisan 22nd Installment Date 2026: Status Check & New List

The Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi (PM-KISAN) is one of the most important schemes for farmers in India. Under this scheme, the government gives ₹6,000 every year to eligible farmers. This money is given in three equal parts (installments) of ₹2,000 each.

Recently, the government released the 21st installment in November 2025. Now, crores of farmers are waiting for the PM Kisan 22nd Installment in 2026. If you are a farmer and want to know when the next ₹2,000 will come to your bank account, this article has all the details.

PM Kisan 22nd Installment Date 2026: When Will it Come?

The government has not announced the exact official date for the 22nd installment yet. However, we can estimate the date based on the scheme’s rules.

The PM Kisan money is released every four months. The usual time periods for the installments are:

1. Period 1: April to July
2. Period 2: August to November
3. Period 3: December to March

The last payment (21st installment) was released on November 19, 2025. Based on this gap, the PM Kisan 22nd Installment is expected to be released in February or March 2026. Many experts believe the government might release the money before the Holi festival in March to help farmers.

Amount and Payment Mode

Eligible farmers will receive ₹2,000 directly in their bank accounts. This process is called Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT).

Note: If you have not received the previous installments, you might receive the pending amount along with the 22nd installment, provided you have fixed any errors in your application (like Aadhaar linking).

Important: e-KYC is Mandatory

The government has made e-KYC (Electronic Know Your Customer) compulsory for all registered farmers. If your e-KYC is not complete, the 22nd installment money will not come to your account.

How to Complete e-KYC

There are two simple ways to do this:

1. OTP Method: Visit the official website (pmkisan.gov.in), click on “e-KYC,” and enter your Aadhaar number. You will get an OTP on your mobile. This is free.
2. CSC Centre: Go to your nearest Common Service Centre (CSC) and do biometric authentication using your fingerprint. They may charge a small fee (around ₹15).

How to Check PM Kisan 22nd Installment Status

You do not need to go to the bank to check if the money has come. You can check your status online on your mobile phone.

Follow these simple steps:

1. Go to the official website: pmkisan.gov.in.
2. Scroll down to the “Farmers Corner” section.
3. Click on the option that says “Know Your Status”.
4. Enter your Registration Number. (If you forgot it, click on “Know your registration number” and enter your mobile number or Aadhaar).
5. Enter the Captcha code shown on the screen.
6. Click on “Get OTP” and enter the OTP received on your phone.
7. Your status will open. Check the “Payment Status” tab.

If it shows “FTO Processed – Yes” (Fund Transfer Order), it means your payment is confirmed and will be credited soon.

How to Check Your Name in the Beneficiary List

Sometimes, names are removed from the list due to missing documents. To check if your name is still on the list for 2026:

1. Visit pmkisan.gov.in and click on “Beneficiary List”.
2. Select your State, District, Sub-District, Block, and Village.
3. Click on “Get Report”.
4. A list of farmer names will appear. Search for your name in this list.

Why Your Money Might Be Stopped

If you do not receive the 22nd installment in Feb/March 2026, check these three things in your status:

• Land Seeding: Must be “YES”.
• e-KYC Status: Must be “YES”.
• Aadhaar Bank Account Seeding: Must be “YES”.

If any of these say “NO”, you must visit your local Agriculture Department office or bank immediately to fix it.
